The Chaska Hawks basketball team (Chaska, MN), dropped 79-59 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN)

The Wildcats now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chanhassen for a AAAA Section 2 battle on Thursday, February 1. Waconia will confront a Storm team coming off a 63-62 non-league win over New Prague (New Prague, MN). The Storm record now stands at 7-9.

The Hawks (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN). The Red Knights come into the non-league battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Benilde-St. Margaret's beat Orono (Long Lake, MN), 83-54, in a league battle.
