The Cruz Dragons tipped the host Roycemore Griffins basketball team by a final score of 62-56 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Dragons face the Morgan Park Academy Warriors (Chicago, IL) in a Lakeshore game, on Tuesday, January 30. Cruz will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 1-14 record after their 74-54 league loss to British International School of Chicago (Chicago, IL).

With the defeat, Roycemore moves to 0-3 on the year.
