Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI) and the visiting Lancaster Flying Arrows (Lancaster, WI), saw Cuba City's basketball squad knock off Lancaster by a count of 60-42.

With the victory, Cuba City upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Cubans host Fennimore (Fennimore, WI) to play the Golden Eagles in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge on Friday, February 2. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Fennimore lost 79-48 in their recent league challenge against Darlington (Darlington, WI)

Next up, the Flying Arrows play the Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 90-44 non-league win over Black Hawk (South Wayne, WI).
