The Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) basketball crushed the host St. Joseph Bulldogs (Conway, AR), 59-38 in Monday's league test.

The Eagles (22-3) will now prepare for their test against Poyen (Poyen, AR). The Indians go into the 2A Region 5 test with a 13-9 record. In their last test, Poyen walloped Jacksonville Lighthouse (Jacksonville, AR), 70-35, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to Bigelow for a 2A Region 5 test on Tuesday, January 30. St. Joseph will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 56-55 league loss to Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 15-2.
