The Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME) basketball nipped the host Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME), 48-47 in Monday's league test.
The Black Raiders (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Leavitt was tipped by Morse (Bath, ME), 57-50, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Mount View for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 31. Erskine Academy will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Morse (Bath, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-3.
