Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers (Falls City, OR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Oregon School for the Deaf Panthers (Salem, OR), 68-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Falls City/Kings Valley Charter upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Mountaineers host Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks, OR) to play the Warriors in a 1A Casco bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 15-6.

Next up, the Panthers play the Crosshill Christian Eagles (Turner, OR) in a 1A Casco bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Oregon School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 65-62 non-league win over Days Creek (Days Creek, OR).
