Florida High School Basketball - Fort Meade crushes Oasis Christian

Fort Meade Miners (Fort Meade, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oasis Christian Lions (Winter Haven, FL), 59-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Meade upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Miners travel to DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-22. DeSoto County lost 70-41 in their recent non-league bout against Lemon Bay (Englewood, FL)

Next up, the Lions play the Hardee Wildcats (Wauchula, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Oasis Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 67-58 non-league loss to Mulberry (Mulberry, FL).
