The West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates (Princeton Junction, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ), 53-50 in Monday's league test.

The Pirates (7-10) will now prepare for their test against West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ). The Knights go into the Colonial Valley test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, West Windsor-Plainsboro North was tipped by Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ), 59-49, in a league test.

The Hornets now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Ewing for a Colonial Valley test on Tuesday, January 30. Hamilton will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 61-41 non-league win over Cherokee (Marlton, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-4.
