The Webster City Lynx basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Hampton-Dumont/CAL to 38 in the Lynx non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lynx now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Humboldt for a North Central contest on Friday, February 2. Webster City will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 72-53 league win over Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-3.

The (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Tigers enter the Freelance contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, South Hardin was defeated by Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA), 62-46, in a non-league contest.
