The Magee Trojans (Magee, MS) basketball crushed the host Hazlehurst Indians (Hazlehurst, MS), 55-29 in Monday's league test.
The Trojans (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Jaguars go into the 3A Region 6 test with a 12-12 record. In their last test, Jefferson Davis County was trounced by Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS), 72-37, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 0-17 record. They play next when they travel to Seminary for a 3A Region 6 test on Tuesday, January 30. Hazlehurst will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 60-45 league loss to Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-19.
