Holly Hill Academy Raiders (Holly Hill, SC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders (Blackville, SC), 57-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Holly Hill Academy upgrades its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Raiders host Crown Leadership Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to play the Lions in a SCISA A Region I bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 0-7. Crown Leadership Academy lost 60-38 in their recent league bout against Holly Hill Academy (Holly Hill, SC)

Next up, the Raiders play the Community Christian Academy Ambassadors (Martinez, GA) in a SCISA A Region III bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Jefferson Davis Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Ambassadors come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 51-45 league loss to Jefferson Davis Academy (Blackville, SC).
