The Ringgold Redskins basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the host Homer Pelicans to 45 in the Redskins league victory on Monday.

The Redskins now sport a 21-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plain Dealing for a 1A District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Ringgold will battle a Lions team coming off a 46-31 league loss to Glenbrook (Minden, LA). The Lions record now stands at 2-18.

The Pelicans (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mansfield (Mansfield, LA). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, Mansfield triumphed over Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA), 44-35, in a league contest.
