The Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Newberg Tigers (Newberg, OR), 76-52 in Monday's league test.

The Falcons (14-3) will now prepare for their test against West Salem (Salem, OR). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, West Salem walloped South Salem (Salem, OR), 68-66, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Glencoe for a 6A Pacific test on Wednesday, January 31. Newberg will encounter a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 65-60 league loss to Sherwood (Sherwood, OR). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 4-12.
