Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA), 72-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Shikellamy upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Braves travel to Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Heartland I bout on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Jersey Shore lost 67-40 in their recent league bout against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA)

Next up, the Black Panthers clash with the Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA) in a Heartland I bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Milton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Seals go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 70-54 league win over Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA).
