In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a AA Region 7 game, on Friday, February 2. Model will attempt to move on its 16-7 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 12-11 record after their 69-60 league loss to North Murray (Chatsworth, GA).

With the defeat, Unity Christian moves to 12-10 on the year. The Lions host Excel Christian Academy (Cartersville, GA) to face the Eagles in a GAPPS - I-A Region 1A game on Thursday, February 1. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 7-16. Excel Christian Academy won 75-16 in their recent non-league game against Lyndon Academy (Woodstock, GA)
