Michigan High School Basketball - Vestaburg can't hold off Montabella

The Montabella Mustangs basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Vestaburg Wolverines to 36 in the Mustangs league triumph on Monday.
The Mustangs now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carson City-Crystal for a Mid-State contest on Tuesday, January 30. Montabella will battle a Eagles team coming off a 44-38 league win over Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.
The Wolverines (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ashley (Ashley, MI). The Bears enter the Mid-State contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Ashley was nudged by Merrill (Merrill, MI), 61-36, in a league contest.
