Washington High School Basketball - Oak Harbor thwarts Mt. Baker

The Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), 72-59 in Monday's league test.
The Wildcats (3-16) will now prepare for their test against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Burlington-Edison went down by Bellingham (Bellingham, WA), 54-51, in a league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they host Lakewood for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, February 1. Mt. Baker will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 68-63 league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-8.
