The Murray Mustangs basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Twin Cedars Sabers to 28 in the Mustangs league victory on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moravia for a Bluegrass contest on Tuesday, January 30. Murray will battle a Mohawks team coming off a 79-73 non-league loss to Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Mohawks record now stands at 11-3.

The Sabers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA). The Saints come into the Bluegrass contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Melcher-Dallas was routed by Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA), 70-29, in a non-league contest.
