Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Nedrose Cardinals (Minot, ND), 70-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Stanley upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Blue Jays host Hazen (Hazen, ND) to play the Bison in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Bison come into the bout with a record of 7-7.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Dunseith Dragons (Dunseith, ND) in a A Region 3 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Nedrose will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 67-66 non-league loss to Watford City (Watford City, ND).
