Virginia High School Basketball - Rock Church trounces New Life Academy

The Rock Church Lions (Franklin, VA) basketball crushed the visiting New Life Academy Bobcats (Elizabeth City, NC), 63-42 in Monday's league test.
The Lions (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Suffolk Christian Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Knights go into the Mid-Atlantic Christian - 1A North test with a 5-16 record. In their last test, Suffolk Christian Academy was trounced by New Life Academy (Elizabeth City, NC), 61-44, in a league test.
The Bobcats now own a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel Assembly Christian Academy for a Mid-Atlantic Christian - 1A North test on Tuesday, January 30. New Life Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 62-26 league loss to Bethel Christian (Hampton, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-15.
