The North Laurel Jaguars basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers to 47 in the Jaguars league victory on Monday.

The Jaguars now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Bird for a District 49 contest on Tuesday, January 30. North Laurel will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 81-41 league loss to Jackson County (McKee, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-10.

The Mountaineers (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Somerset Christian (Somerset, KY). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Somerset Christian was defeated by Southwestern (Somerset, KY), 59-53, in a league contest.
