Parshall/North Shore Braves (Parshall, ND) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tioga Pirates (Tioga, ND), 57-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Parshall/North Shore upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Braves travel to Ray (Ray, ND) to clash with the Ray Jays in a B District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Ray Jays go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Ray won 66-23 in their recent non-league bout against Mandaree (Mandaree, ND)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Alexander (Alexander, ND) in a B District 7 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Tioga will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 58-55 league win over Powers Lake/Burke Central (Powers Lake, ND).
