The Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders basketball team (Lyons, GA), dropped 59-51 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Pinewood Christian Patriots (Bellville, GA)
The Patriots now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Andrew's for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Pinewood Christian will confront a Lions team coming off a 71-48 league win over Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Lions record now stands at 15-7.
The Crusaders (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against John Hancock Academy (Sparta, GA). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, John Hancock Academy beat St. George's (Milner, GA), 60-44, in a non-league battle.
