The Sioux Central Rebels basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Southeast Valley Jaguars to 49 in the Rebels league victory on Monday.

The Rebels now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Storm Lake St. Mary for a Twin Lakes contest on Tuesday, January 30. Sioux Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 78-8 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Remsen, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-17.

The Jaguars (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Titans come into the Twin Lakes contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, South Central Calhoun was nudged by Humboldt (Humboldt, IA), 70-62, in a non-league contest.
