Kansas High School Basketball - Southwestern Heights topped by Stanton County

The Stanton County Trojans basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Southwestern Heights Mustangs to 45 in the Trojans non-league victory on Monday.

The Trojans now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkhart for a Hi-Plains contest on Tuesday, January 30. Stanton County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 57-23 non-league win over Moscow (Moscow, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-8.

The Mustangs (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lakin (Lakin, KS). The Broncs come into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Lakin prevailed over Wichita County (Leoti, KS), 73-59, in a non-league contest.
