Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV), 65-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Spring Valley upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Teays Valley Christian (Scott Depot, WV) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Teays Valley Christian won 89-54 in their recent non-league bout against Covenant (Barboursville, WV)

Next up, the Red Dragons play the Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. St. Albans will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 79-65 non-league win over Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV).
