Georgia High School Basketball - Troup County can't hold off Trinity Christian

The Trinity Christian Lions basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Troup County Tigers to 61 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Clayton for a AAAA Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Trinity Christian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-49 league loss to Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-16.
The Tigers (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Wildcats enter the AAAA Region 4 contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Whitewater nudged North Clayton (College Park, GA), 62-49, in a league contest.
