The Pigeon Forge Tigers basketball team (Pigeon Forge, TN), was overwhelmed 65-35 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN)
The Tornadoes now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austin-East for a 2A District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Alcoa will battle a Roadrunners team coming off a 78-34 league loss to Gatlinburg-Pittman (Gatlinburg, TN). The Roadrunners record now stands at 6-6.
The Tigers (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cosby (Cosby, TN). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Cosby trounced Hancock County (Sneedville, TN), 52-34, in a league battle.
