In Monday's league outing, the West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA), by a margin of 58-26.

The Hawkeyes (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Woodbine (Woodbine, IA). The Tigers go into the Rolling Valley outing with a 13-6 record. In their last outing, Woodbine was trounced by Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA), 41-39, in a league outing.

The Rockets now own a 3-17 record. They play next when they travel to Boyer Valley for a Rolling Valley outing on Tuesday, January 30. Ar-We-Va will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 45-25 league win over Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-14.
