The Aurora Houn Dawgs basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting East Newton Patriots to 24 in the Houn Dawgs league triumph on Monday.
The Houn Dawgs now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host College Heights Christian for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 31. Aurora will battle a Cougars team coming off a 65-40 league win over McAuley Catholic (Joplin, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 9-6.
The Patriots (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against McAuley Catholic (Joplin, MO). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, McAuley Catholic was routed by College Heights Christian (Joplin, MO), 65-40, in a league contest.
