Autaugaville Eagles (Autaugaville, AL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Calhoun Tigers (Letohatchee, AL), 31-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Autaugaville upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Marbury (Marbury, AL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Marbury lost 62-47 in their recent non-league bout against Pike Road (Pike Road, AL)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Marion Rams (Marion, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Calhoun will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 16-9 record after their 48-14 league win over Aliceville (Aliceville, AL).
