Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD), 62-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Clear Spring upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Blazers travel to Catoctin (Thurmont, MD) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Catoctin won 59-20 in their recent league bout against Brunswick (Brunswick, MD)

Next up, the Railroaders play the Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) in a Central Maryland bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 51-9 non-league win over Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD).
