Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 53-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Buffalo Gap upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Bison travel to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a Shenandoah bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Stuarts Draft won 49-35 in their recent league bout against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA)

Next up, the Little Giants clash with the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) in a Shenandoah bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Waynesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Green Hornets go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 53-28 league win over Riverheads (Staunton, VA).
