Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL), 53-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Cary-Grove upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Trojans travel to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to play the Tigers in a Fox Valley bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 15-9. Crystal Lake Central lost 47-33 in their recent league bout against Huntley (Huntley, IL)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) in a Fox Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Jacobs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Whip-Purs go into the bout with a 16-10 record after their 56-36 league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL).
