Roeper Roughriders (Birmingham, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Sentinels (Brighton, MI), 38-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Roeper upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Roughriders host Southfield Christian (Southfield, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-9. Southfield Christian lost 43-23 in their recent non-league bout against Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI)

Next up, the Sentinels play the Livingston Christian Falcons (Pinckney, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 66-25 league loss to Washtenaw Christian Academy (Saline, MI).
