The Waconia Wildcats basketball team (Waconia, MN), dropped 67-52 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN)

The Hawks now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benilde-St. Margaret's for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 1. Chaska will battle a Red Knights team coming off a 74-37 league win over Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Red Knights record now stands at 12-5.

The Wildcats (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN). The Storm come into the AAAA Section 2 battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Chanhassen prevailed over New Prague (New Prague, MN), 77-52, in a league battle.
