The Clymer Central Pirates basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Sherman Wildcats to 41 in the Pirates league triumph on Monday.

The Pirates now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Panama for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - West II contest on Thursday, February 1.

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Silver Creek (Silver Creek, NY). The Black Knights enter the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - West II contest with a 3-5 record.
