The Melcher-Dallas Saints basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Colo-NESCO Royals to 30 in the Saints non-league triumph on Monday.
The Saints now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cardinal for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Melcher-Dallas will battle a Comets team coming off a 52-31 non-league loss to Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Comets record now stands at 4-12.
The Royals (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Collins-Maxwell-Baxter (Maxwell, IA). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
