Florida High School Basketball - Mitchell trounces Countryside

January 29, 2024: Clearwater, FL 33761

The Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) basketball crushed the host Countryside Cougars (Clearwater, FL), 66-34 in Monday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Cypress Creek walloped Fivay (Hudson, FL), 52-43, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pinellas Park for a 6A District 9 test on Tuesday, January 30.
