Crivitz Wolverines (Crivitz, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Suring Eagles (Suring, WI), 59-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Crivitz upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Oneida Nation (Oneida, WI) to play the Thunderhawks in a Marinette & Oconto bout on Friday, February 2. The Thunderhawks come into the bout with a record of 7-11. Oneida Nation lost 67-45 in their recent league bout against Lena (Lena, WI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Coleman Cougars (Coleman, WI) in a Marinette & Oconto bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Suring will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 51-40 league win over Niagara (Niagara, WI).
