The Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA) basketball crushed the host Derry Trojans (Derry, PA), 60-34 in Monday's league test.

The Knights (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Neshannock walloped Laurel (New Castle, PA), 60-36, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Highlands for a WPIAL 4A 1 test on Thursday, February 1. Derry will encounter a Golden Rams squad coming off a 47-28 league win over Freeport (Freeport, PA). The Golden Rams record now stands at 11-6.
