The Edgewood Lions basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Pomona Red Devils to 27 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Puente for a Miramonte challenge on Wednesday, January 31. Edgewood will play a Warriors squad coming off a 66-6 league loss to Garey (Pomona, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-17.

Next up, the Red Devils play the Ganesha Giants (Pomona, CA) in a Miramonte challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Pomona will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Giants come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 54-6 league win over Bassett (La Puente, CA).
