Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY), 63-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Estill County upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Engineers host Knott County Central (Hindman, KY) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Knott County Central won 62-44 in their recent non-league bout against Harlan County (Harlan, KY)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Wolfe County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 67-57 non-league win over Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY).
