In Monday's league outing, the Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA) basketball squad edged the host Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA), by a count of 35-31.

The Nighthawks (10-13) will now prepare for their outing against Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA). The Lancers go into the Greater Sacramento outing with a 10-12 record. In their last outing, Cordova was tipped by West Campus (Sacramento, CA), 62-27, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now hold a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to West Campus for a Greater Sacramento outing on Friday, February 2.
