Fullington Academy Trojans (Pinehurst, GA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA), 52-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fullington Academy upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-8. David Emanuel Academy lost 47-43 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity Christian (Statesboro, GA)

Next up, the Valiants play the Tiftarea Academy Panthers (Chula, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Valwood will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 39-32 league win over Southland Academy (Americus, GA).
