North Hollywood Huskies (North Hollywood, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA), 37-24 in a league bout.

With the win, North Hollywood upgrades its record to 7-14 on the season. The Huskies host Poly (Sun Valley, CA) to clash with the Parrots in a East Valley bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Parrots go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Poly won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Chavez (San Fernando, CA)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Lakeview Charter Lions (Sylmar, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 49-43 non-league loss to Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA).
