The Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA) basketball nipped the host Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA), 51-46 in Monday's league test.

The Eagles (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Blue Devils go into the District 10 Region 4 test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Sharpsville got by Greenville (Greenville, PA), 39-30, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Mercer for a District 10 Region 1 test on Wednesday, January 31. Sharon will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 34-31 league loss to Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-4.
