The Tigers (16-7) will now prepare for their outing against Smithville (Smithville, MS). The Seminoles go into the non-league outing with a 10-16 record. In their last outing, Smithville got by Tremont (Tremont, MS), 32-27, in a non-league outing.

With the defeat, Mantachie moves to 7-14 on the year. The Mustangs host Vardaman (Vardaman, MS) to meet the Rams in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 30. The Rams enter the match with a record of 6-15. Vardaman lost 48-29 in their recent non-league match against Thrasher (Booneville, MS)
