Maryland High School Basketball - Havre de Grace knocked off by Rising Sun

January 29, 2024: North East, MD 21901

The Rising Sun Tigers basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Havre de Grace Warriors to 33 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perryville for a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna contest on Wednesday, January 31. Rising Sun will battle a Panthers team coming off a 60-40 league loss to North Harford (Pylesville, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 7-8.

The Warriors (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Patterson Mill (Bel Air, MD). The enter the non-league contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Patterson Mill was defeated by River Hill (Clarksville, MD), 62-45, in a non-league contest.
