Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Holt Ironmen (Holt, AL), 35-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pickens County upgrades its record to 2-11 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Gordo (Gordo, AL) to play the Green Wave in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Gordo won 57-18 in their recent league bout against Oakman (Oakman, AL)

Next up, the Ironmen play the Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Holt will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 47-20 league loss to Hale County (Moundville, AL).
